A common question you should always ask to make sure you are aware if the commitment you are making aligns with your parenting wishes.
I don’t offer one method, and many families praise the flexibility to choose the advised approach rather than being pushed into something they don’t feel comfortable with.
Full Extinction method, or Cry It Out, is not a practiced or offered option in The Sleep Foundation Support.
Some crying in the process is normal and expected communication that is temporary and responded to. Please read more about how Sleep Training is defined by Calm and Sleepy at the link.

Block #1: Onboarding Consult
I want to know your baby's full picture — temperament, current patterns, what you've already tried, and what success actually looks like for your family. You'll leave this call feeling heard and understood. I'll leave it ready to write a Custom Sleep Plan that actually fits your life.
Block #2: Exhale and prepare for the next season of rested humans in your home. Curated resources arrive in your inbox over the week following our call full of education on background of sleep science, mindset for what’s coming next, environment and routine preparation, and much more. You will be ready for anything before the bigger changes come and improvements in your optimism are likely.
Block #3: Your Custom Sleep Plan Arrives!
Every family is different—so every plan I write is personalized around your baby’s age, your parenting style, and your sleep goals. Whether you’re hoping to reduce night wakings, transition away from feeding to sleep, or figure out nap schedules, I’ll meet you where you’re at.
Your custom sleep plan may include:

Created based on your baby’s developmental stage, with flexible routines for naps, feedings, and bedtime.Nighttime feeding and weaning strategies

Because no two babies are the same, your plan will be written just for your child—and adjusted to reflect your family’s unique goals, routines, and preferences.
Block #4: Supporting The Process- Ask Me Anything
With the sleep plan in your hands as the blueprint, I help you understand what it says and we go through what it may look like. This consult call is to dive in deeper and prepare you for implementing the ideas.
Block #5: You Aren’t Alone.
Text support brings me along for the ride, bumpy or smooth, I’ve got you.
Think of me as your personal on-call professional sleep support who also knows exactly what your child’s typical routine looks like, the goals you had that day for sleep learning practice, and what you have already tried.
Google doesn’t know what happens at daycare naps (I hope). The advice your well-meaning friends and family give have their own perspective and experiences. And they want to respect your feelings too!
I may prompt you with options for how to address a situation, or offer tips for navigating a refused nap. I may just be a friendly reminder that holds you accountable to reach the end of sleep training with less stress.
Bigger questions to troubleshoot, need to pivot the plan, or ready to wrap-up and hear about what to expect for next developments? You call me! Available to use anytime in the month following booking, you can schedule a 30-minute chat for anything you need.
You aren’t alone!
Check out some real examples of texts I get from clients during our 2-week service:
"Wondering what a good plan is for when we have play group at 9:30 which is right when she should be sleeping..."
“She dozed off in the car for about 10 minutes, what should I do?"
“___ woke up late (7:45ish) and her more recent nap looks like it’ll be ending in like 15-20 min. Should we still aim for a catnap or put her down early?”
”Nana said naptime was tough today, I think he was overtired. Should we have tried earlier?”
“Just got ___ to sleep without any back rubbing! I think we are ready to move to the check ins tomorrow…I’m nervous but he’s seeming ready.”
And of course, the many celebration texts! This was on day #2!!
